I have an interesting combination of experience that has proved beneficial as a Realtor.  For over fifteen years I worked in the legal field, primarily as a paralegal. I specialized in real estate, estate planning and business law.  While working in the legal field, I also worked part-time at night and on the weekends as a waitress where I had the chance to meet thousands of interesting people with diverse backgrounds.

Over the course of my legal career, I was priveledged enough to work for one of the nation's top companies, Nordstrom, Inc., and also for some of Seattle's highest ranked law firms.  My mentorship came from attorneys who were/are at the top of their game, and now it comes from Anton Stetner and my fellow brokers who are at the top of theirs.  Whether you choose me, or another realtor with RSG, please know you are in good hands.

My personal business model is centered around two things: 1) exceptional customer service and 2) factual information.  I will listen to your needs and your goals, both current and future. Joe previously worked at Asset Realty where he helped build, drive and manage a Customer Service department that was responsible for 75% of the companyʼs production.

Prior to working at Asset Realty, Joe worked in the mortgage banking industry. As a Residential Loan Officer Joe specialized in providing financing for Veterans and Investors. He also worked to help people obtain financing for individuals with less than perfect credit.

Joe served in the U.S. Marine Corps. from 1994-2002. He was on active duty from 1994-1998 and during this did 2 deployments to the Persian Gulf. He then served in active reserves from 1998 to 2002 .

Joe is originally from Alaska and enjoys many outdoor activities including camping, 4-wheeling, snow machining, hiking and traveling to new places.

I started my career in real estate as most do with the purchase of their first home. But unlike most I purchased my first home when I was 19 years old with my brother Benji. We both knew at an early age that real estate was a viable option for us and that this was a path that we wanted to set forth on.

My brother and I began our Professional Real Estate business by partnering with some close friends and purchasing homes on the auction block and rehabbing them for a quick profit. This method was the simplest way for us to get into the Investment game, leveraging other peoples money and a simple investment model we were able to learn alot about creating deals and satisfying the needs of our private money investors.

In 2009 we launched our own Real Estate Company called HomeDealz with a primary focus on creative financing, subject too, and lease option deals. A method we learned through many very experienced investors who have mentored us into very resourceful and creative investors.

As I pursed real estate I worked in mortgages for almost two years and then moved into becoming a Realtor with RESG. I started my career with RESG by doing BPOs (Broker Price Opinions) and learned the ins and outs of the REO business. As I progressed with BPOs I transitioned into helping RESG manage their REOs and soon had my own REO account with HUD. I continue my real estate career by expanding my knowledge on the current REO market and support buyers and sellers alike.

Born in Tacoma, I lived there until 1987 when I went to Arizona to go to school. I attended Motorcycle Mechanics Institute and graduated with honors from Honda Pro, Harley Davidson and was the top of my class in the first ever Harley Davidson Early Model school. I was there for so long an instructor said I should have my own parking place.

 After graduation I went to work for a Honda dealership in Prescott. A nice city but I missed the Pacific Northwest. I landed a job at a well known Harley Dealership in Skagit County and moved up to Whidbey Island. I worked there for a year and then went to work for two different dealerships in the Federal Way Area. I was trying to get back to Tacoma. The last dealership I worked at sold and I moved on. I then came to Snohomish County and landed a spot at the Harley Davidson dealership in Lynnwood. I worked there for about 3 years and an old dream of mine emerged. I had wanted to invest in Real Estate for years and had bought and sold several homes on my own. I have always worked in some job that required customer service and Real Estate, I thought would be a way to help people in a direct way. A way that has a major impact on peoples lives. I spoke with my family and they supported me. I then went to my Service manager at the dealership and told him what I was thinking. He thought it was a great idea and told me he wondered what I was doing there anyway. He always thought I could be more. So with that I quit the Motorcycle tech job and received a gift of a shiny new briefcase from the service manager and my friend to this day. That was in 1995. I still have that briefcase. I used that briefcase to help many people at that company buy and sell homes since then.

 Realizing my early dream of becoming a Harley Davidson Motorcycle Tech was a major goal of mine. It required overcoming monumental financial and personal obstacles. I had to sell my home, arrange for a place to live and work while I went to school.  I identified what the goal was, listed what needed to be done and did it. I excelled in school and realized my dream.

 I have found that people with goals involving Real Estate require much the same effort. I have been honored to help many people reach those goals and make a difference in there lives. 

 I have been involved in transactions with Residential New Construction and Resale, Commercial Sales and Leases, Lease Options, Contract Sales, Land and Development.

 I always have one thing in mind.

I want to help my clients be as informed as possible so they can make decisions that are right for them. That may mean that I don't list there home for sale or that they don't buy a home right now. But with my help and consultation they will be able to make that decision and it will be the right decision for them.
